Frisco Trade Center Gets Underway near PGA Headquarters and Resort

By Steve Brown, Dallas Morning News

Frisco is seeing more development than just theme parks and golf resorts.

Construction just kicked off on a business park that will bring three new industrial buildings on Rockhill Parkway near the new PGA of America headquarters.

Dallas-based Dalfen Industrial is building the 575,000-square-foot Frisco Trade Center — just the latest North Texas project for the warehouse builder.

“We are excited to bring this cutting-edge industrial park to Frisco in partnership with JLL,” CEO Sean Dalfen said in a statement. “With its strategic location near major transportation routes and surrounded by a growing community, this property will provide exceptional opportunities for businesses seeking prime industrial space. ”

Jones Lang LaSalle’s Kurt Griffin, Nathan Orbin and Dalton Knipe are handling leasing for the project, which is expected to open late this year. The first building will have 262,354 square feet.

“With more people calling this region home, there is an increased demand for goods and services,” said Griffin, JLL managing director. “This industrial development aligns perfectly with this trend, providing the infrastructure needed for businesses to thrive and cater to the needs of the expanding population, particularly in this outstanding last-mile location.”

Dalfen Industrial has built millions of square feet of Dallas-Fort Worth warehouses with recent projects in Forney and Mesquite. North Texas leads the country in industrial building with more than 70 million square feet on the way.
